Syarat dan kondisi
- will run from 19 April (Good Friday) until 20 October 2019, every Tuesday to Sunday (including major public holidays).
- will now operate only as a 1st-class panoramic train, offering all guests seats with panoramic windows. 2nd class of travel will no longer be offered on the train. You will still be able to travel in 1st or 2nd class on the boat.
- still features the popular photography coach with windows that open, now located right next to the panorama coaches. It is no longer possible to reserve seats in the photography coach.

Highlights
- Experience a spectacular boat trip on Lake Lucerne from Lucerne to Flüelen surrounded by unique scenery. The modern “Diamant” motorboat will run on the north–south route and the “Uri” steam boat on the south–north route.
- Be inspired by a journey with one-of-a-kind scenery on the panorama train on the historical Gotthard route with a variety of helical tunnels and bridges.
- The panoramic train only has seats in the 1st-class panorama coach with large panoramic windows. The train also has a photography coach with windows that open (ideal for taking photos).

Pricing and class system from 2019
From the 2019 season, the Gotthard Panorama Express will operate only as a 1st-class panorama train on the Gotthard railway from Flüelen to Lugano. This way, all passengers can experience the delights of the panorama coach.
The surcharge is being reduced and is now CHF 16 per person.
The following services are included in the surcharge:
- Seat reservations on the exclusive 1st-class panorama train
- Information over the loud speaker system, including presentations in the Gotthard tunnel on the history of the Gotthard railway and the Gotthard legend (de, en, it)
- Personal tour guide (multilingual)
- Travel guide (brochure or app) with information about the sights along the route
- More surprises
Passengers with a 2nd-class ticket need to upgrade their class as well as pay the surcharge for journeys on the panorama train from Flüelen to Lugano (or vice versa).
You can still travel in 1st or 2nd class on the boat (Lucerne–Flüelen or vice versa). This section of the Gotthard Panorama Express’s route cannot be reserved and is not subject to a surcharge. There are enough seats available.
Ticketing
- All Swiss tickets (including GA and Half-Fare travelcards) and international tickets including Swiss Travel System tickets are accepted on this route.
- The family discount in accordance with tariff 600.3 and the STS Family Card are valid.
- Group discounts in accordance with tariff 660 apply.
Sales information
- Tickets must bear the route Lucerne -> via Schiff -> Flüelen -> Lugano.
- In addition to purchasing a valid ticket for the route being travelled, all passengers need to pay a surcharge and those in 2nd class need to upgrade to 1st class for the panorama train journey from Flüelen to Lugano. The surcharge will be charged as a seat reservation.
- The Gotthard Panorama Express will now only have panorama coaches in 1st-class on the Gotthard railway from Flüelen to Lugano. It is not possible to make reservations in 2nd class.
- The surcharge is now only CHF 16 per person. There will no longer be reduced surcharges for part routes.
- Seats reservations cannot be made and are not necessary for the boat journey. Passengers are free to sit where they wish.
- It is no longer possible to reserve seats in the photography coach. However, the photography coach will remain part of the train and is available to all guests.
- Food and drink is not included in the compulsory “Gotthard Panorama Express” surcharge.
